Just messing with you venom.

What I was hinting at is perhaps I (or The Wizard) could go there and get you the same "cash price" we got on our PWR water barrels.

It's up to you. The offer still stands.
"cash price" huh? well if it isnt to much trouble swing by and ask them what a fmic that has 3" end tanks and is 6" high would run me... i guess around 22"-31" in total length if possible.

find out and let me know if it isnt to much trouble.

Well, I was hoping you'd do the homework. Call to see if they'll make a 3" in/out in the size you want. See if they'll negotiate the price down, etc. And then I'd go in to buy it for you in cash once it's ready. I think the store manager's name is Clint (Am I remembering that correctly Wizard?). The phone number is in the link I provided (I think). Is that cool?

I think it depends on how serious the person is is performance. If the car is being tracked then that measurement would be critical along with turbo compressor maps to determine turbo efficiency.

Supercharged intercooling vs turbo intercooling makes me wonder though because if you are running a 3" intake setup from the s/c I could see where a 3" inlet i/c would matter. With a turbo, my outlet is like 2.25", so 2.5" piping and core should be okay for the daily driver but when it is all said and done, I wonder if the measurement of the throttle body would negate the effects of having the 3" vs 2.5" on a s/c car.
