SecondToNone's backyard rebuild ** lots of pics **

Well, I been busy and didn't have time to drop this motor back in the car until. I have been working on it for the past month or so. Most of the work was done solo but I did need some help on a few things and some friends helped out, like mating the tranny and motor. (shout out to Mike, lol)
Here are some pics. Comments welcomed, suggestions will be taken into consideration as well.

RG45 gate

Closer look, open dump

Getting there

Filter installed. I will endup running this filter into the fender and putting the maf before the turbo inlet because the way I fabbed up the charge pipes there is no room for the MAF on the charged side because of taking up some space for three 1/8npt taps...... ;-)

Meth kit behind the bumper, going to run a dual nozzle setup. I will also tune for meth and need to be 100% positive it is spraying. That LED light just doesn't cut it for me so I bought a cheap electric fuel pressure gauge that I will use to monitor my meth pressure......

FMIC, not too visible behind the 5.5gen bumper but should get lots of air.

You can see the charge pipe from the turbo to the intercooler here, very short!!!
After completed I will have very short charge pipes.

So, thats where I am at presently. All I need are a few couplings that are on order and I need to weld the downpipe in one spot because I had to cut it.

I also need to do some things like a 3in catback, fab up some support brackets for the turbo, wrap the rest of pipes, etc, etc

Wow that looks like it's going to be sick. I like the location of the meth kit but is it easily accessible to refill? Plus do you mind if I steal your idea and mount mine there? Lol

I will install the kit with 50 shot jets, probably keep it to a happy button and WOT witch tho, just for those runs where you just needed a little bit more

lol, car's been down for long and got a buyer for my SC kit that basically funded 80% of the parts, doing it myself = free labor so it wasnt too bad

the turbo is known as the GT35R killer from turbonetics

Thanks, refils are easy as cake because the neck stick up where I had the hole for my SCer cold air pipe.

Go for it man, its a nice spot. Use a backflow preventer on the line right after the pump so the meth is right there when you call for it, kinda like purging on a nitrous kit.

here's a lil rendering of the pipes once finished, someone asked on the other forum so I might as well post here as well

You can see the piping to the TB sort of in those pics above.
They are there loosely and still need to be trimmed.
Hope this drawing helps, lol

OMFG AMAZING... I love it.

Im wondering if you can get a 3 Inch billet maf made for it, then bolt in the sensor... . Since you will have it on the charged Side And close to the amazing 35r turbo. Don't want it to melt you know.

Also this is just a precaution as my friend has had his next to it for around a year, It just gets very hottt.

I have a billet 3in MAF housing already, lol
Its going on the uncharged side. My 2 meth and nitrous nozzles took up the place I had on the charged side so I had to make a quick change of plans, lol.
