Vq30 Boosted looking to spray
LIke the title says.
Just wondering the limits of the vq30. Im pushing 14psi With a 60-1 ter-bow.The tune is right on the money. I'm using a greddy ultimate.
I've looked around and i see some maxis boosting and spraying, just wondering what shot they were using. Not saying its gonna be safe for me but just looking to see.

You'll blow the tranny first if you do things right.
If you ask me, the best way to do it so you're not playing with as much fire would be 2 things. Obviously, use the e-manage to your advantage. The other thing is fuel. Run an entirely separate fuel system, fuel cell with its own pump, lines, regulator, etc solely for the nitrous. Doing that will give you some safety margin that you wouldn't normally have unless you wanted to always fill your tank up with race gas, because you can fill the fuel cell up with race gas just for the nitrous, this will also ensure adequate fuel delivery.

I was putting 312whp for about a year or two, I would occasionally spray a 35shot on top of that. I had a leaking head gasket for that same amount of time (mostly due to bad tune and nitrous before i had turbo), I replaced the head gasket, and put up the boost to 15psi, the car was very very fast didnt get a chance to put it on a dyno or the track. Eventually the ring lands gave up, I always had alot of blowby. but if i had a good tune before that it would have still been running strong. id say a 50shot/75 would be reasonable ontop of what your boosting now. like neal says, if tune is good
