PFI kit on a 5.5 gen
Been very busy with other stuff in my life lately so won't be on that much but just wanted to post some eye candy & quick details. Glad I am FINALLY done (For now anyways) working on this thing, and even more stoked that the owner (NismoMaxCT) is FINALLY getting to enjoy it as much as I did earlier today. We should be sneaking it onto the dyno Thursday or Friday.
Quick rundown is: PFI kit with a TN T37 (Don't know much more than that, lol) Evolution wastegate (With a cut 14psi spring for now, I think this is hurting spool big time, and max power. With the 14psi spring it was an animal @3.5k, now I can hear the wastegate opening to early)
When it's not heatsoaked the stock maf maxes out @5k in 4th gear, which puts it into limp mode like on the Z/G. Making about 9-9.5 psi in 3rd/4th, 6-7 in 1/2 (again, need to get rid of that cut spring). To scary/illegal to hit boost in 5th, Redline in 4th gear @ 9psi on Blizzak's was to much for me, A/F's seemed to be good at that point (low-mid 12's) though it's kinda hard to watch the gauge.
The PFI kit had to be modded pretty heavily due to the location of the 6-speed starter screwing everything, feedpipe & wastegate were right there! all in all had to cut/angle/replace 9 different sections of pipe to relocate feedpipe, wategate, and make the dp meet up with a 3" flex, resonator, then the AWESOME Cattman 3". stock 95-99 exhaust manifolds.
Fuel is a return style system in order to run an FMU for the time being (e-manage + injectors coming soon!) It's actually a superfmu since we now needed a regulator as well and this is both. Running a 5th gen pump assembly W/Walbro 255 and 1/4" return line. OBX fuel rails with a boatload of AN & NPT fittings- it goes 3/8 feeding one rail, which feeds the other rail also 3/8's, to the 1/4" return going to the FMU.
Motor is toast, front precat wiped out the front 3 cylinders, it has boatloads of problems because of this, but still goes like a raped ape & should easily make it to maxus & back + last the summer.

You have NO IDEA how big the other side of this cut-off switch is, it's insane I was able to fit the thing on the back of a 5.5 gen!!

Coming soon:
4AN filter to protect turbo (Motor is pretty beat)
7psi Spring from TN
BBMAF & eliminate that home depot pipe near stock maf in above pics (Though it works PERFECT!)
Slightly longer air-filter
Replace cheap e-bay clamps on all piping w/legit ones that don't suck & cause a gap, I'm afraid to do a boost-leak test on this thing (I always do boost leak tests, love 'em, they are key)
E-manage w/patch harness & ?440's?, ditch superfmu & use regular aeromotive.
Clutch/Motor/o2 sensors, o2 sims for rear. Currently car has cam code 100% related to motor issues so we weren't concerned with CEL's for the time being. Also found out via fuel trims on scantool + wideband reading 16 @ idle sometimes that front o2's aren't reading properly.

These rails are setup for stainless steel AN based lines. You will need to source these parts for the install as it is not included.
So you didnt have any issues with the OBX Fuel rails hitting the bottom part of the manifold? I cant clearly see in the picture but does that manifold have the EGR port on it? Mine did and i wasnt able to put on the obx's because it would hit the egr passage. Now i got a none egr manifold but not sure if i will still hit manifold
wow once again OBX copying other companys stuff, we have a lawsuit against them since theyve copied our Jenvey ITBs for the s2000 and selling them half the price..
you can tell its a copy because of the weight differnce and they dont have the ports for the egr or water jacket.
gotta love OBX copying everything.. I belive these fuel rails are either injected performances...
I never saw these on thier site , i guess they only sell on ebay

We probably could have used a de-k rail but the only one I had was missing the feed & dampener, I would have had to try to source more de-k parts (which is a royal PITA) or elongate the 3.5 feed holes & drill out a de-k regulator, I get super paranoid with fuel now & try to do everything by the book so I didn't want drilled out regulators & elongated mounting holes, especially as it was someone else's car, but de-k rails are definitly an option. I'll tell ya', sourcing the 5th gen pump assembly was a NIGHTMARE, EVERY junkyard within fifty miles that had a 5th gen had ripped the tank out from the bottom without touching the backseat, I saw like 6 or 7 pump assembly's that had the fittings or electrical connector snapped off, it was heartbreaking. The only way I was finally able to get one was off of a car that was about to go in a container overseas.
