yea its an orange label 22860 30p00 etc....n62. so it should be a z32 maf.

kevlo- i've seen that diagram and thats what i used for mine. my colors are different but i assume the pin positions would stay the same.

dumb question but viewed from harness side would be like standing from the driver side fender looking down at it correct?

I'm about to contact JWT to reflash the ecu you sold me last summer.
I really hope the new maf will solve all your problems.

safc2 will log the voltage for like 30sec or something

also try adding more fuel with the safc2

Sounds like a fuel pump issue, I would hard wire it or switch it out to check.

anyone know what ground wire to cut underneath the fuel tank cap. there are two connectors and the left one which has only 2 wires are thicker which i believe is is the power and ground for the fuel pump and the other connector has about 6 small wires misc. colors. i would take a voltmeter to it but mine is acting up.

the connector on the left are both black wires.... anyone know which to cut for the ground to hardwire the fuel pump???thanks

no its def not the coils. it only happens at a certain rpm then will continue to rise to factory rev limit. its something with the auto programming i believe.

What rise rate on fuel pressure are you seeing? Most aftermarket AFPR have a 1:1 rise rate. You should be seeing 36psi at idle, 43psi at atmosphere, then 1 psi increase in fuel pressure for every psi of boost. With my JWT ECU tuned with 550s, I was seeing more than 55 psi at/near redline with about 13psi of boost.

However, it would still lean out just a tad bit for my comfort. I don't know if my 6 year old 255 was a little tired, but a Kenne Bell Boost a Pump did the trick more me. I was bumping voltage to 16V at redline. Don't recall my fuel pressure, but it was well over 60psi at redline and kept A/F in the low 12:1 range.

On a side note, be careful increasing base fuel pressure then pulling too much fuel via SAFC and or other piggyback. Do a quick search and you will find that pulling fuel via SAFC usually increases timing as a side effect. Keep it in check since advanced timing and boost don't play well.

My $.02

my fp is set at like 36 then 43 w/ the line off. i can't see the rise rate as the fpr is under the hood and haven't been on a dyno. hell it may be a problem w/ the but doubt it...

I had a similar situation. I did all the same stuff you have done. Safc wouldnt fix it. My adjustable fpr was junk and was not rising under boost like it should. I fixed that problem and was good until the small pulley, then like meximax I added a kenne-bell bap and was good to go. Check your fpr, I bet its not rising under boost.

Justin, my car is not boosted now but I had a similar problem on the dyno last Friday. Everything was great until 5.5k then the car wanted to lean out. No matter how much fuel I addd via VAFCII it did not change anything. I ended up having to raise my fuel pressure up to about 46 psi (at idle with vac source hooked up). This gave me enough fuel up top and I just pulled fuel via VAFCII to get everything thing where I wanted it. You may want to give that a shot, it will blow the tune you have but it may fix your problem up top. Just my .02
