Yeah it shouldn't be a problem installing it from the bottom or top with the uim removed but if I do for some crazy reason

Thanks, btw been thinking about getting a det uim and mounting the tb on the passanger side and get a standard intercooler to reduce the total number of bends in the setup, heat buildup on the one side and just to have something different. Overall it will be about the same length, think it's worth the effort or screw it.

True you may be able to do it all with just 4 bends.
Det mani, tb driver side, same side intecooler should only be 6 bends or less and shorter piping.
I would make the custom 3.5 manifold u had in mind, white lightning, heat wrap, turbo blanket and call it a day
Oh and lol & $100k to make 700hp.....lol

Clearly you aren't aware how hard it is to consistently make higher hp especially on cars no made to handle the abuse. Maybe 100k is over stated for this car and I wont get in to a whole big arguement but clearly you aren't aware of why all these racers are sponsored.

100k? lol I spent $2,400 on a built motor that can handle 600-700HP. If funds were available, a built auto (in my case) would be less than $3,000. say built strong axles another 1 or 2k. And a serious turbo another $1k. Thats only about $5k. You dont need sponsors or crazy money to build a fast powerful car, you need knowledge.

added a pic of the crossover pipe on the 1st page. Went over everything with a 40 and 80grit flap wheel yesterday to smooth over the welds and knock any grit and slag.

I am going to box up the headers and cosspipe and take them to the ceramic coater, goin with the white ligthing. Then spray and heat wrap the downpipe

quick update, if I boost my G35 before I find another maxima my entire setup going up forsale as a cheap package. I mean everything, turbo, feedpipe, downpipe, 3inch exhaust, intercooler, piping, couplers, oil lines, oil tee, welded oil pan, oil cooler, 370cc injectors already mounted, 4gen ported lim to match the dek uim, ported dek uim, tb, block off plate, valve cover, coils, bov, wg, vac lines, vac tee's, boost gauge, z32maf, fuel pump, fuel line adapter, bolts, gaskets, even a big tube of rtv, s-techs, shocks, struts, 2 rear ksport coilovers, jvc radio 7inch screen and ose harness already mounted in a 4gen radio trim. Only thing you would need is something to tune with and time to install. The downpipe has been sprayed and heatwrapped and the feedpipe is getting ceramic coated.

Do to the time I have into the setup I would hate to do this but I really would not need a boost G and Maxima. Price would be around 3800-4k

Wow what a deal, normally a setup like this would be close to $100K!

Thanks but there has been a change of plan's, I pretty much sold everything for the maxima and going to focus on my race truck this year. Then buy a Tahoe/Suburban as a family/winter/tow vehicle, turbo my G35 then build a low budget track only race car next year.

Ok so working on a twin G is like working on a 300zx and for anyone that's ever had the pleasure knows what I am talking about. So with that said I am going to build another turbo maxima.

well I went over the car today while getting my light weight pulleys installed and may still do a single turbo setup but I have some unfinished business with the maxima and might just do both

Why not throw a VQ in a S chassis then turbo that? i have only seen 2 turbo VQs in an S chassis, both were in S13s.

TT G35s are a mess thou. Sounds funny but in actuality its a headache. That engine bay, i had the fun of installing headers on a 350Z.

up here any 240 worth buying is over priced, plus they are kinda like civic's. maxima's and i30's fall under the radar.

I would do a boosted gs300 thou

ok so the build is back on, sprayed and heat wrapped the piping, going to send the headers out in a week or 2 for either cermic or swain coating.

Sold my neo and going with a aem fic, got a pftb and dek adapter plate and going to install that today.

thought about it but that would leave me with three rwd cars and nothing to drive in the winter. Maybe when I get rid of something. I'll be looking out for your build thread

Nice to see you found a home for that turbo. You use the nitrous to spool the turbo or run it the whole 1/4

Next I need to make a dump tube.
