whenever i plug my laptop in i have to rev it or it will die out. i recommend setting the unit to duty cycle to begin with, much easier to tune. did you set up the software properly? firing order etc? make sure you select the proper output map. what is the very first map in ur map tree called?

So it only reads the airflow but doesnt light up the rpm for example in a map it only lights going down the air flow not going to the right rpm.but if i change the rpm signal in the parameter to ignition signal rpm signal works but nothin else reads and car cuts off.
i reset the parameter and car know stays on with the emu but no rpm signal and i add or take away fuel and its like doesnt do anything car doesnt change.

Did you have to wire in the resistors to not get the ignition CEL? I wired mine up and didnt add them, should I add them? I have a newer version EMU ( not sure of the version) and supposedly it supposed to take care of the ignition CEL problem without adding the 6 resistors according to the Dandy write up.

I didnt start the car up yet or play with the software at all. Im Finishing up my SC install and then I'll be ready to play.

You dont remember? lol If you did install them you should have remembered, its the 6 resistors to prevent the ignition CEL, its in the write up and that is a memorable task IMO. Either way I left them out. Planing on starting the car up today I will report back if I get the code or not.
