Tire pressure VS load rating

The OEM 215/55-15 goodyears on the Maxima had a load rating of 91H and a specified tire pressure of 32psi, correct?

My new tires are OEM size, but they have a load rating of 93W. How does this affect the proper tire pressure?

NO. Those load ratings are performed at an ASTM pressure of 35 psi for normally loaded vehicles, the pressure goes up if you have a truck and are hauling something. So all load ratings are performed at the same pressure so therefore you should change your tire pressure to accomadate a different load rating. Hope this helps!...Check www.tirerack.com and their definition of load rating to make sure I am correct. Go to tire rack and select a tire, then select specs and then click on the "max load" and it will tell you the definition.

Wow! I am sorry, isn't it amazing how much one little word means......You should NOT change your pressure. Leave it between 32 and 35
