How to fix a slow leak

What are the ways that you can fix a slow leak in a tire without having to go to a shop and get them fixed. I'm trying to save some money.

check to see if there's a small nail in the tire.

if the rim is bent it might leak also.

get a spray bottle and mix up some soapy water..spray it around the tire and rim and watch for the foam.

If a shop mounted the tire for you, then it's usually a free repair job. Otherwise it's only like $5 to $10. Don't be cheap, get your tire fixed.
