Opinion on Rims

Would these look good in 18's on a Maxima?

I think it will take to much attention away from the car. Try to find a wheel that's a little less gaudy.

So I must give this wheel a thumbs down

That's a little better.
I only really like high-end chrome like a Lowenhart or maybe a Work wheel. I have nothing against low-end wheels but the chrome takes it to another level IMO.
What color is your car? with a drop and a kit I think this could work.

Curl said it best....when you go chrome, u are on another "plain".... if you go chrome, don't buy cheap knockoffs or no-name brands..go with a reputable company..

you are paying extra for chrome, spend for a quality wheel..chrome will peel and/or pit if it isn't dipped or cured properly..

I love my chrome BBS rims...great quality, but price was a bit steep for 17's...

I have a 95 Pebble Beige.. I want 18" chrome wheels, 5 or 6 spoke with a deep lip. I haven't found too many rims I like. I'm very picky.. the company that makes the last wheels are called Velocity and I have never heard of them, but I'm suprised that I liked them.

I checked Lowenhart, Momo, BBS, and Giovanna.. Its not that they are more expensive, it's just that I don't like them. Honestly, I don't want to spend more than $1200 on rims (not including tires). I found another wheel, and want to know what you guys think. They are called Diablo Bugati's..

Let me know what you think of these. Your opinions are very much appreciated...I dont want to waste my money on wheels that I'm not too sure if they'd look good on my car.

not a bad wheel bro, offset is PERFECT (45mm is stock on 2000 up maximas)

but I question the Diablo name.....I would also question the quality (or lack thereof) of the chrome...I would worry about pitting and peeling..

Like I said before..you want chrome, buy the quality brands...if not, IMO stick with silver or polished wheels

For instance my 17" BBS RX 243's cost $500 a PIECE at tirerack.com, but I know the chrome should last me

Yeah, I dont know anyhting about Diablo either. There is a 2 year warranty on the structure and the chrome. I have a 4th gen (1995), is 45mm still ok? I just dont like the look of silver or polished wheels..

I'd post the offset question in the 4th gen forum but I think u'll be good stock 02-03 rims fit fine and they are 45mm..

Nice...Well Im going to look to see if I find any non-chrome rims I like. Im not sure if whether to get silver or gunmetal on my Pebble Beige. If I dont find any non-chrome, I think I'm going to go w/ the Diablo's. BTW Appreciate the help.

I think that both of the other rims would look good on your Max. I prefer a 5 spoke wheel, however (easy to clean). Chrome quality could be a problem (??). Mine were about $250 apiece and the chrome is good (2 1/2 years). I just keep 'em clean and polished.
