hub-centric rings with stock 16's (5th gen)

I attempted to remove my 18" Integrals and put on the stock 16", but I had to put the 18"s back on due to BAD wheel vibration (I only went up to 40 mph). When I was putting the 16"s on, I used the hub centric rings that were used with the integrals. It didn't seem like the 16"s were sitting flush on the hub. Should I be using the rings with the stock wheels?

Thanks,

T

Shouldn't the stock 16" wheels not even allow you to remount them on the hub if you still have the 18" hub rings still on there? AFAIK, you have to remove the aftermarket rings and the stock wheels should just sit on the built-in hub....
