ContiExtremeContact vs SP Sport A2

I'm in need of new all season tires. I'm currently running on the stock Toyo Proxies A05's. I'm living in the NYC area, and I will be seeing snow. So, with all that said, which would be the better tire in my situation?

215/55/16

P.S: Anyone got pics of the Continentals or Dunlops on their max?

conti's

I just the conti's on my wife outback and I have to say, so far, they are nice tires. really quiet and handle well. The size on her car is 225/60/16 and they are pretty good in the corners. But they are still in the breakin period. (Just had them put on less than a week)

I'm planning on getting them on my 16" rims before the winter.

good luck,
Tom

I have the cheapo Conti Touring ones on. They are good tires. No complaints yet. Execpt for the ugly ugly tread pattern! yuck.

i have contisports...they're horrible.
I was running Dunlop A2 for the past 3 months. Wonderful. No complaints. Best bang for buck all season tires.

Seems like ppl like both the A2's and Conti's. I'm just going to order some for the family car and see how the sidewall looks in person. From the shots shown on tirerack, the A2's seem to have the better sidewall look. Just going to have to see if the conti's look better in person or not.

Conti's extremes

As i said earlier, I bought the conti's for my wife's outback and love them. They are really quiet and handle well. As soon as the weather gets colder I'm going to order a set for my max. i like these tires a lot, so far. I went through tirerack and they were at my house the next day. great service.

good luck on your decision.

Hopefully you are going with a 17" tire size, as all relevant 16" sizes are on back order except the 225/55, which are expected back in stock in about 10 days.

Bro, I just ordered a set from Tirerack today. 235/45/17 @110 a piece. I hope I can get quick ship like you did.
