lowering and tire size

Hi Guys/Gals,

Just got my 95 lowered on Eibach/AGX's and am in the process of putting my rims (17x7) on. I have 225/50 zr17 tires and the installer said that I may have rubbing problems putting such a big tire on. Should I go with a 215/50? Any thoughts...

Thanks

The proper 17" tire size is 235/45-17.

You should have no problems at all with that size.

mzmtg: everyone likes that size, but unfortunately it probably won't fit on a 17x7 (notice the 7in wide rim)
