Was wondering if these rims would fit a 5th. The person who I sold them to said it doesn't fit all the way in from the rears. I have a 97 max by the way...

Thanks...

They should, what is the offset? I think they are usually 45 or 48, in that case they might be tucked into the wheel well. If they are wide they may rub on the inside of the wheel well. There are other members on the board running a 45 offset. If they do rub you can get wheel spacers.............

Good info in the FAQ

I have the stock 15" rims, will the 97+ SE rims fit my car?
Yes, it will. If you are getting a set that has the 215/55-16 tires on them, you don't even have to worry about changing tires.

I want to get 17" rims, what is the right size tire to run? 18"?
For 17", you'll need 235/45-17" tires. For 18", you'll want 235/40-18". These are assumptions that you have at least 7.5" wide rims. If you have 7" wide rims, you can use 215/50-17". These tire sizes will keep the overall diameter within spec., so your speedometer and odometer won't be off.

What offsets do I need?
Anything between 35mm-40mm should fit fine.

Maybe he means they don't fit with the center caps still on? I think some 3rd Gen people running Subzeros said they had to leave the center caps off, but otherwise they fit (or were made to fit ).
