How are Michelin Pilots in Snow?
All of you NE orgers with Pilots, how do you like them in the recent snow? Have the stock Potenza's w/ 24k miles and I need to replace them. From older posts I know everyone likes them dry and in the rain, but couldn't search for snow performance. The Tire Rack rating is pretty good, but I would like to hear some first hand experience from Maxima owners. Thanks!

I have the Pilots A/S ( 225/50R17) on a 2000 Maxima SE 5spd.
I drove from work last night during the snowstorm up here in Philly. I'd rate the tires above average for all season tires for snow duty. Obvisiouly, they're not as good as dedicated snow tires. However, I didn't slip too much and I wasn't the slowest car out there. I even stopped on a few inclines and still managed to climb the hills.
Oh, one more last thing, they are better than the stock Potenzas.
