Tire shops suggest using the same tires on all four...but from experience with running Kumhos in the rear and 512's in the front. I'll be replacing the rear with 512's but just make sure you have enough tread on the rears and the speed rating is high enough. I havent noticed any handling issues at any speed....

You could even thought it's not recommended. I was too cheap to buy all 4 snow tires so I just bought 2 for the fronts.

Ammi, buying two snow tires just for the front is highly highly unrecommended by all tire stores. Causes major traction problems on front wheel drive cars. On rear wheel drive, it is acceptable for the rears. I would remove those snow tires asap.

I know it's not recommended. I just did that because I was short in cash.
