I just found out that at www.wheelboutique.com they'll paint any rim they have for you. This may be an option if you really like a rim but they don't offer the finish you want. They quoted me an additional $60 per rim painted.

Do you have a write up on that? I dont really want to crack open the housing, without really knowing what I'm doing. I wonder if he has some condensation problems due to opening the housing. I'm not a great craftsmen as you can tell

I saw that guy's site awhile ago and loved how it looked with the black rims/chrome lip. But after seeing that closeup of the wheel I dont like it as much. Looks like a flower or something. These would look better, it looks buff IMO

Someone with a white 02-03 has them on his car...if you painted the wheel face black and left the lip and nuts alone it would look sweet.

You can acutally get this wheel in silver or chrome. Maido (sub company of Lowenhart\Dazz motorsports.) makes these wheels as knock offs of the Lorinser RS5. Its called the ST5 heres a link to see them http://www.maidowheels.com/wheels/12.jpg

and heres a link to get a sweet deal on the. http://www.streetdreams.org/display.php?s=Maido&r=ST5

Oh and heres the RS5 http://www.streetdreams.org/display....Lorinser&r=RS5

I personally like this style wheel. I am leaning more towards this wheel for my I35 in a 19 incher http://www.streetdreams.org/display.php?s=Maya&r=DTS

The pic I posted is of some ACE wheels...I forget the model...but those Maidos look too. I found the guy with these wheels on his max

More pics here... http://maxima.cardomain.com/id/asu174

There's actually a guy that goes to my school that has these wheels on his Grey Lustre 5th gen. In person these things are amazing, the car's stance is improved so much, the wheels sit flush with the bodysides. These are the wheels I am hoping to buy in the Summer

If you guys think thats a lot of money, check out these GFG Forge wheels I almost purchased back in September. http://www.streetdreams.org/display.php?s=GFG&r=GF-1%20(5)

Thats per wheel. I am soo glad I did not go that route.

I dont know if these are your taste or not, but SSR makes a nice wheel. I think that the gunmetal look is still "in style" so to speak.

LOL, I know right. I am thinking of those Maido's for real. (Or maybe the Ace's) The SSR's are pretty nice. I just can't seem to find any that will compliment the luxury of my I35. (which sucks big time.)
