I bent my 16" stockers, and am getting stock replacements. There's a lot of tread left on the tires. Is it possible to remove the existing tires and mount them on the new wheels? Any disadvantages/drawbacks?

As long as you did not damage the tire when you bent the wheel(s), no reason not to reuse them. Have the tire shop that does the changeover inspect them closely for any damage to the tread, sidewall, bead, and inside the tire also.
