Bridgestone Potenza 950 good tires?

thinking about getting these for my Max from Costco because they are about to have a sale on all Micheline and Bridgestone tires. I didn't like any of the Micheline tires made.

I had them on my stock rims. Excellent all-season tire, and the tread life is very good too. Highly recommended.

great, couldn't have heard a better reply. Just so everyone else knows, Costco will be having a sale for $60 off a set of 4 Bridgestone or Micheline tires starting Monday and ending sometime in Feb. They can order you whatever tires you want also. The Potenza 950 in 215/60/15 were $99.99 each including mounting, balancing, life time rotation and some other stuff. After the $60 off, the total for a full set is $340 + tax ($85 each tire). Tirerack has them for $83 but that doesn't include shipping ($40 to ATL) or all the other stuff but I think you do save tax.

Wait so the RE950s would be $99 on sale or $60? Either way you can't go wrong. I just got them put on my stock rims for $99 and I'm in love with them. Great handling overall. In the rain, they feel like they handle better than my previous tires did when it was dry. Can't say much about treadlife cause I've only put about 600 miles on them but I've heard good things. The only thing is people say they're not that great in the snow but no high performance all season is really gonna be that good

The Bridgestone Potenza RE950 is a great tire! I got them for my '01's stock 16" wheels after the original Toyo Proxes were no longer any good. They are an improvement over the Proxes in dry weather, and fantastic in wet weather. When it rains a bit on the heavy side and the freeway isn't too packed, I love the rush of driving around quick with those tires.

When I got them, my local Wheel Works (also known as Tires Plus, Olson Tire, Hibdon Tire Centers, and Michel Tire) matched the TireRack.com price which was nice, so I had everything put on by them.

Highly recommended tire. I only wish Bridgestone makes the RE950 for the stock 17" wheels for the '01 that I have sitting in my garage. Oh well.

Peace.

I got the tires put on today and they are freaking awesome. Road noise is almost non-existant and braking soooo smooth. No vibrations what so ever even past 100mph. Costco got the balancing thing right the first time and it wasn't even a highspeed machine, just a regular 60mph one. Only thing bad about the experience was the 3 hours it took for them to return my car to me . But I LOVE THE TIRES!!!
