tire experts...need help on mixing tires question. need answers relatively fast

well i have two semi-new 225/45's on my 17x7 tantrums, but the other two are junk. one of them is flat and both really have not much tread anyways. so, a member on the org offered to sell me his 225/50's for a great deal. he says they're the stock potenzas with good tread left.

is it ok to run those on two wheels while running mine on the other two? is it bad to mix n match? i really can't afford to buy new and want to put these back on for the spring/summer.

side note, i have wear on the inner side of the tire. i know i desperately need an alignment, but is that all that would cause this, or does that mean my suspension up front is messed up too?

thanks for the help guys...

It's okay to mix tires, but not the RE92 particularly.

what do you mean and what's with the roll eyes?

all i'm asking i guess is, is it bad to mix these or will it be ok to run for the season?? i'm a junior in college who's near broke and can't afford to spend a lot and have a seemingly great deal available to me and am looking for some help.

Look at this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=291165

Yeah, mixing tires is generally okay. But the RE92 tires that comes stock with 5th gen SE has very bad reputation and bad reviews over at tirerack.

also, if you do, be sure and mix front and back, not side to side. inner tire wear is excessive negative camber, 9/10 it can be fixed with an allignment.

Get the suspension inspected or check it yourself if you know how. It can just be alignment, but it could also be worn suspension bushings causing the inside wear.
