Wheel Spacers

My car is dropped 1.7" with 225/40/18's. I would like to put wheel spacers in the back. How many mm should I go with without rubbing and where to get them? Thanks for the help.

Why do you want spacers in the back? Is it rubbing now? If not, then you'll need a pretty big spacer to get a 'staggered' look and that means buying expensive ($100+) spacers, rather than using the cheapo thin ones. I have 6mm spacers on my 3rd gen (different suspension) to clear the rear struts and you can't tell the wheels are staggered.

it's not rubbing now. i just wanted them to stick out a little. they seem to be inside the wheel whel too much. what did you mean by 'staggered' look?

Staggered = back wheels stick out farther than front wheels (achieved by using wider rims in the back or spacers). I was assuming you only wanted to put spacers in the rear. But still, you'll have to drop some serious money to get all 4 wheels to stick out noticably farther. Actually, they are on sale at options auto salon. *Click me* . $200 for 4 of them is a pretty good price. Still too rich for my blood for cosmetic purposes.

If you make them, you'll need to buy longer wheel studs so your lug nuts have enough thread to keep your wheels on properly. AFAIK, the only option for longer studs are NISMO studs, which are $6 each.
