experiences with Conti Extreme Contact Tires

Anyone out there using Conti ExtremeContact tires?

Experiences with Dry/Wet traction and how well they last on 5th gen.

Don't list warantee at TireRack, makes me wonder how long they last.

Looking to replace my OEM Potenzas

thanks

there are different types of Conti extremes on the site, but i picked the one up from the cheapest (112/wheel i believe) and they are very good. i think they're worth it, but you should read the reviews listed on tirerack as well

thanks.

I went with the Falkens 512s. Price matched by Sears with EdgeRacing.

The reviews seemed to good for the Falkens.

Very happy so far on wet roads great control.

I have a set of Continental Extreme tires. As for ride quality, they are O.K.

But the tread blocks and sidewalls have way too much lateral flex. You can really feel the effect when making rapid transitions in steering. It is kind of like a jello effect when going through the turns.

The steering response is really slow on those tires. To make the tire quiet, the manufacturer uses soft sidewalls and treadblocks. Therefore, the response gets weak.
