Tires and Wheels Rubber, and lots of rubber in all kinds of sizes. What do you use when it's freezing? What do you use when it's hot? You want sticky rubbers? How about rubbers that will last a long time? Find your perfect rubber in here.

Yeah, so this question has probably been asked 9,000 times.

...but I can't seem to use the search function in the forum, and going back a few pages I didnt see anything obvious, so...

I'd like to replace these laughable excuses for stock tires that are currently on my 2002 with another brand I prefer. I've had good experiences with the Yoko AVS ES-100s before, but I see several people in this forum recommending the Falken Ziex ZX-512.

But, I'd like to upgrade to a 235 from a 225. I don't know the stock 17" wheel size offhand, but I've heardthat this works? Is it a 235/50/17 or a 235/45/17? If it's a 235/45/17, how much speedometer error can I account for?

Is anything over 235 possible (not dangerous) on the stock 17's? 235 is probably where I want to stay, though.

And finally, does anybody have any pics of 225 vs. 235 tires on the stock 17s? Higher?

Thanks!

-db.

Yeesh. You run 17x9's with 265s? No rubbing? Rolled fenders? I'm assuming a similar set up would apply on a 2002. Maybe I'll stick with the stockers until I want to drop/get new wheels.

What springs?
