New Rims - 1st 4th gen with HP EVO's **PICS**

Thought the rims were coming Friday, they came yesterday, and got the tires mounted while I studied for my final.

Rims - 18 X 8 HP EVO Lightnings
Tires - 235/40WR18 Pirelli PNero Zero M&S

Pics:

Couple more pics on my domain page

I'm gonna need to get some spacers in order to put the center caps on, but overall I got a great deal from Henrik (maxed up). They look sweet and def add some flava and make it stand out a little more.

Now all I have to do is update my sig

I remember there was another 4th gen before you. It was beige but it had some huge wheel gap. Yours looks good. Welcome to the HP Evo club.

I'm sure someone else had them, the title is one of those :attention title's

Rims - 675
Tires - 600
Mount & Balance - 86

Mike - the rims/tires aren't that heavy. I didn't put them on a scale but they're def lighter than the arrows. I want to say like ~25 lbs for the rim and ~10-15 lbs. Don't hold it to me. I have to put spacers on, so when I do, I'll throw one on the scale

They look great . . . . good choice, they remind me of the wheels that came on the 2002 530i sport.

That car you speak of is mine! I have had them for almost a year.

I have the ones with the darker center though. I think they look better, the contrast the color of my car.

Have you tried flattening the hub sheilds? my rear shields prevent my rims from fitting, so I had to remove them completely. I think my rear bearings will die soon. I plan on going with the 5mm h&r spacers....what do you plan on doing?

The rims look hot...that lip looks deep.

take that rear cap off and the center caps will fit

Same rim and Tire set up as me...
pirelli's are niice...but when it gets a little cold out and the car sits over night you get some flat spots...but they go away after a couple miles

My inspiration towards this purchse, I thank you, and I thank you for the tip, I'll check that out

My suspension is H&R's and KYB AGX's. I have two subs in a box as well as a MDF floor in the trunk so it sits a little low.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Wow you can't beat the lip on those things. If it was me I would have the centers powder coated gloss black. That would look soooo badass!

Yeah the ones that come on the 530 sport are 17x8 ASA AR1 OEM's which is what i'm going to buy as soon as i get my first 2 paychecks. The 18x8's are only 22lbs and ASA is partners with BBS, technology etc but they are cheap since they are made in Korea

Very nice, Conrad. You beat me to it! I'm hoping to get mine on the car today or tomorrow.

I'm working on a modification to the center caps so they will fit without using spacers. If it works, I'll post some pics. These wheels (18x8, 38 offset) stick out far enough on 5th gens. IMO spacers on the front would make them stick out too much.
