good,not too expensive touring tires
I recently bought my car and it came with winter tires(canada) so I need some new all season tires. I`m just an everyday driver so I figure touring tires will do me fine. I like the car plenty but I find the ride quite harsh and jittery- moreso than the other max`s I test drove. I bought this one `cause it was the best of the lot otherwise, and the cheapest. So I`m looking for a comfortable ride as well. I guess this would be sacrilege to most of you guys, but I`m willing to sacrifice a little performance for comfort. Also do really need to stick with H rated tires or will good T`s do me fine? I`ve heard that a lower speed rating will have softer sidewalls and a ride smoother. Any suggestions?
you could try some Kuhmo HP4's...only like 62 bucks a piece on www.tirerack.com I considered going with these since i need new tires soon, but im going to go with the Kuhmo ecsta 711 for a little more performance
theoren97 - mastercraft has a new tire out called the avenger it is a high performance v tread tires that runs very cheap. suppose otbe the best tire for your moeny. i drove a prelude with them on and i can say they have my apporval for the money.
eckohb - do nto buy those tires. i have those in 235.45.17 and they suck. i can't do anythign on a lunch exept spin them if i want to get anywhere, and the follow ruts in the road liek a *****.

BF Goodrich Traction T/A's. Cost me about $400 for all 4. They're an all-season, and have great reviews all around. I have them on my '93 and my mom's '96. Great wet and snow traction, as well as dry handling, plus they wear well. Unless you want the ultimate in performance and are willing to shell out for winter and summer tires, they are a great tire for living in Canada. IMHO.
