I finally got the Murano rims today! They look great! I just had to go out to the garage and put one on to look at it. What do you guys think? I think they'll look good.
Now I just need to figure out which tire I want?! I've narrowed it down to these three:

Pirelli PZero Nero M&S

Continental ContiExtreme Contact

Kumho Ecsta ASX

I've currently got the Bridgestone Potenza RE950's. They are good, but a little too "loud" for my liking. Sounds like the tread is slapping the pavement when going slow.

Any thoughts?

That's almost double that whatthe stocks weigh, not including tires. They don't really look that good and the wight increase isn't worth their look.

If you want to see what they look like with tires here you go. And I actually thought they felt lighter then my stock SE wheels with 55 series tires. And indeed they are. My stock SE rim/tire weighs 33lbs & the murano rim w/ tire weighs 32lbs. I went with a 225/40/18 & I don't have any rubbing issues.

Um I find it hard to believe that a stock 18" Nissan wheel and tire could only weigh 32lbs. My 235-45-17 Comp TA tire weighs about 20 lbs. My whole wheel/tire (SVT 17x8) weighs about 42lbs.

Your combo has to be in the mid/high 50lb range.

nope, nissan products all have the five lug for most applicaitons! Unless you get the titan or armada, they need the six lug applications.....

I applogise stock SE/tire weighs 43lbs. & the Murano/tire weighs 42lbs. My fault, so for the typo. I will have to weigh them again to make sure my scale is working properly.

They are light in weight for 18" wheels (1lb less than the OEM 16" wheels and tires) and they have similar specs to most aftermarket 18" wheels that are used on Maxima's. So I don't see why eventhough they are "designed" for an suv, you can't use them on the Max. Good choice IMO. Keep us posted...want to see some pics with tires once they're mounted.

I agree with jeff, I mean, his wheels are surely lighter than those Murano wheels. Also, if his combo is only 42lbs. I hardly think that the one size larger stock Murano wheels are the same weight. That is just not a correct calculation. They are cast wheels(poured into a mold), not forged. I mean, Nissan does not have any extremely light wheels on these cars stock.

I'd go with the 20 inch FX rims. But they look okay.

Back to the question...I'd go with the Continental Extreme Contact tires. I have them, and I am very happy with the ride, sound, grip, and so far durability.
