Are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S very noisy???

I have 2 ~10k old Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires as rear tires on my 03 Max SE and i love how they handle the road wet or dry. So far, they look reliable as well.

I am not sure if it is "just me" or my car....but it seems like i am hearing more and more road noise lately. It has to be the tires and since i have the feeling that it comes from the rear end....could it be the Michelins? They really weren't quiet when new, but now it is even more obvious. I have the stock Potenzas on my front wheels and they are getting close to be replaced (42 k miles on them with 4/32 left) so it is possible that they are the source of road/tire noise as well.

Has anyone had simular experince with Michelin Pilot A/S, being noisy over time??? They get great reviews, BUT i also read a few reviews that said that these tires become VERY very noisy when they wear a bit. Is this true?? What is your experience?

Soon i must buy two new front tires and i do NOT want to get something that will eventually make all 4 corners too noisy. I love my car quiet.

Let me know what you think.
Thanks!

I've just picked 4 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires , not cheap $803.00 plus $140.00 to install and balance. What What I've noticed is that depending on the road in hand, that the feel of the tires picks up all the formation of the road and on a good road the tires glides as if on ice..........I like them so far..
