19" wheel problem

I've been riding on 19's for about a year now and PA roads are just really taking their toll on my car/body. Lowered on Tein S. Tech and with a 235/3519 is just killing me. BUT it looks good...my point is I have two sets of 19s both look the same but one costs about half of the other. My friends claim I'm the single dumbest kid they know because i'm always switching between the SSRs and my Exel knock offs. Anyhow to those people riding on 19s is it worth it? I'm so sick of the bs that goes along with such big wheels. Tonight I struck a deal with a local guy to take a set of wheels off my hands. But I need some input on if its worth it or not. Sorry to go on and on...but I'm stuck..should I sell the 19's and go with an 18" rim with more tire...or just stick it out? Oh and my Max was only used about 3 times a week up untill a month or so ago when I sold my other car so now I have to put up with this **** all the time. Here is the latest picture of my car...

What kind of problems are you getting with your 19's exactly?

Hamy, did I ever tell you that I everytime I see your car with SSR wheels? It's really up to you what you want to do with your car. If I were you, I'd keep the SSR, and sell the Exel wheels. Then put some nice all-season tires on stock wheels. That way, if you ever find yourself frustrated because of the bumpy ride, you can always change to stock wheels.

Or if you don't like stock wheels, you could sell them and get this Velox wheels in 17x7.5. Put some nice and light tires and you're set.

my opinion, if your concerned about the ride, you may want to look into buying some 17's like limsandy said. You would have a noticeable firmmer ride even with 18's.

Look for 04 Max 18"s as winter wheels/tires and keep your SSRs for summer use. Sell the knockoffs.

Hamy you cannot sell those SSR's... they are just too beautiful. Can you maybe get a different tire size with a little more sidewall? It would probably be out of spec and your speedo would be off, but at least it would give you a little more peace of mind.

Get 18s to save you from the pot holes. I suggest HP EVOs.

I live in Washington, DC. In the last 3 yrs I've bought a set of 19" DAZZ Motorsport Matiz ($4,200) and 19" Enkei Aegis ($3700). I busted up the DAZZ soo bad I sold them for $100. The Enkei's still survive but I've spent about $1500 getting them fixed here and there. I just cracked one 2 weeks ago and I'm getting new wheels now. I'm getting 20's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *** it!!! You only live once and BIG wheels are the shiet!!! Some people are concerned about speed but my car is just as fast as any other max w/17's. Keep the 19's. Some dude is going to roll up on you sitting on 19's and you're going to feel like shiet. Save yourself the pain. Keep your ego!!!!

I didn't realize you had the knockoffs too...that's hella funny!

If you sell the SSR's, you know who to contact

I'm in the same boat as you right now Hamy. 19's, Tein S.techs. I'm gonna be changing up my suspension shortly. I WILL NOT downgrade from 19's. I'm gonna get Illuminas, and possibly new springs too...

The only thing I can say is, if you can do it, just look out for potholes in the street.
