I've found that pretty much all wheel locks are the same. They really only deter a determined thief for a few extra minutes.

I am partial to Mcgard Splinedrive lugs and Gorillas, however. I haven't been able to find a place locally to buy the Gorillas though..

You can check out Mcgard's website (www.mcgard.com) to find the correct application. I think most Nissans are the same, so they use M12 x 1.25 as the thread size.

I bought my gorilla wheel installation kit (lugs, locking lugs and valve stems) from www.summitracing.com.

scopium, what kind of wheels do you own that require that amount of protection, i'm curious. or are you just paranoid someone will jack them?

i figure 5 different type of wheel locks will run you 100$ at least...

I got Motegi spline drives for my HP EVOS from Tires Plus (where I had the tires mounted) They seem to be well made and should be secure.

I would just get two different brands of wheel locks. 5 is overkill. If they are seriously gonna steal your wheels with 2 different locks on it, then they are probably pros and 3 more won't deter them. My $0.02.

if the man sleeps more soundly with 5 different combo wheel locks, that's his thing. i can only imagine how much your wheels cost for you to take that kind of measures to thwart theft. originally, i thought you had chrome spinners or something

Well, again I have to chime in and say that is overkill. If someone is really gonna steal your wheels I don't think the 3 extra locks are gonna make or break the deal. I lost the key on my previous set of locking lugs and my mechanic just took his Snap-On stripped nut socket and spun the lug off in 5 seconds. The locks only deter amateur criminals IMO, and so 2 should be enough for that. But hey, it's your car so if you really don't mind the extra cost or hassle, get 5 sets. But AFAIK, that means you'll be juggling 5 keys when you need to take a wheel off.

Spline drives are a type of 2 piece lug nuts. They come with a special 'socket' to remove them. A regular type socket won't work. Just gotta make sure you have that socket with you if you want/need to change a tire.

try summitracing. If a thief really wanted your rims, they will steal them. Locks will just slow him down a bit.
