Tires for 17"x7" wheels?

Hi I was just wondering what would be the best size tire for 17x7" wheels. I have 225-45-17 HTR+ on there now but need to get new tires soon.

Thanks

Well I don't remember exactly prob have about 15,000 mile son them now and still have about 40% tread left on them. I am changing them due to unever tire wear they wore out in the middle on my two front tires. Would 215 50 17 fit my tire?

215/50-17 will fit nicely on a 7" wide rim.

Thanks, I think I am going to get 215/45-17 Toyo Proxes 4 from edge for $88 each, awesome price.
