Anything I should know before I move ahead with this purchase?

I was just about to click the order button on tirerack.com, when I though I'd better double check here first.

Ordering for my 2002 Maxima SE:
SSR Competition (size 18x8.5)
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 (size 245/40/18)

The rolling radius is almost exactly the same, so there shouldn't be any problem there. But my rim width is an inch wider (or 1.5 inches, not sure if stock rim width is 7 or 7.5), and my tire width is 20mm wider so I wanted to know before I buy these if I would need any spacers or anything like that.

P.S. for those who don't know:
Stock rim is 17x7 (or 17x7.5 rim), and stock tire is 225/50/17.

you should be fine and wont need any spacers. it mostly depends on the offset of the wheel but you should be fine with the SSRs. people get the same size tire with 18x8s.

I went ahead and ordered based upon what redstatic said (thanks red!) and Tire Rack called me later saying that a tire in that width may have a chance of rubbing. Now 245/40/18 is the closest thing to my stock rolling radius, but they suggested 235/40/18, which is their "recommended" size for my car and rim combo.

Now, what I want to know is their recomendation based in the realm of reality, or do they just recomend that to cover their butts in the minute chance that somebody does rub and then complains that TireRack didn't warn beforehand.

EDIT:
Drop will be comming eventually too. low too, coilover low. so keep that in mind when replying. THANKS!
