225/50-17 Pilot Sport A/S for $265 CDN??
I recently made a stop at Costco and decided to check out their tires and prices while I was there. When they pulled up the price for the 225/50-17 Pilot Sport A/S, I was surprised to see they were only $265 CDN / tire. I am hoping that somebody else can comment on this price. To give everyone a relative comparison of prices for other tires they had, the Bridgestone Potenze RE040s were $340 CDN / tire, and the stock Bridgestone Impotenzas were $232/tire.
Are these prices (relatively speaking for US folks) typical?

Tirerack has that tire for US$193, which works out to CDN$ 254 at today's exchange rate. Was the COSTCO price inclusive of installation and balancing?
Best bet is to pick up the yellow pages and make some calls and get some quotes. You'll probably be surprised by the variation in prices.

Pilot Sports might be good by reputation, but I think they are a huge ripoff for the price they sell at.
Check out this tire: http://www.tiretrends.com/catalog2.php3?tireID=377
The Falken 512 is a good tire with a growing fan base. Kal Tire sells these too, but I can't remember what their price is - give them a phone call. That's what I'd get if I had a 5th Gen...
