People with HP EVO (Lightning) wheels

I am getting 19x8.5...they have a 38mm offset, my question is are you guys running wheel spacers? If so what size and where did you get them. Thanks.

I have HP EVO's and if you don't mod the rear hub dust caps, you will need 1/4" spacers on the rear. Also the front axles will stick through the center of the rims, so you will need to modify the center caps. Good luck! These rims look SICK on my car!!

yes that is why you need the spacers. So can anyone say for sure if I smash the dust caps in will I be able to fit the center caps on with these wheels or will I still need spacers. If I am going to need spacers for sure will someone just say so....thanks

Help!!! My car is sitting at the shop and I can't find anyone who sells these spacers. I need the name of a place who carries these. I have checked the local Discount Tire & NTB and they have told me that they don't carry them.

Well I was able to find 1/4" spacers from PepBoys for $7 bucks a piece. Checked Advanced Auto Parts, Napa, O'Rielly's, and Track Auto and no one carried them. The problem is the center caps on the rear still don't fit. I got the fronts to work but the next time I rotate the tires to the back I'm going to run into this problem again. I need to see if they make shorter dust caps for the rear wheels...or maybe I'll just use the o'l hammer suggestion.
