Best everyday tires for 1/4 mile

Not DR's, something that I'll leave on 24/7, even if street tires will never be truly sticky. I was thinking of Toyo T1-S but I want to keep my 15" wheels and they largest they seem to make (that I have access to) for 15" is about 23.9-24.0" tall, which will look like **** on a max.

Suggestions?

BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial
- they'll perform great at a dragstrip but wearout very quickly if you drive on them everyday.

I'd suggest taking a look at Falken's Azenis. Arguably the stickiest street tire around.

I'm surprised nobody has asked this. How much power are you making? That's an important part of a tire decision process.

Especially since you want to keep your 15" wheels. You'll be limiting yourself. 16" would be an improvement and 17" would be optimal for selection.

Kumho's seem to be the best value. Ecsta MXs are unbeatable for the price.

Price is probably a factor since you want to keep 15"

The only high performance tires you'll find in 15" that aren't all-season (You DO NOT want all-season tires in a drag race) are drag radials.

This thread stirred my curiosity and I browsed for some options.

I did find BFGoodrich g-Force Sport tires at Tire Rack in the 225/60-15 size and might be worth a try.

As long as your 15" wheel is at least 6" wide they'll work.

Azenis also might be worth a shot but the 15" size is a lot shorter than standard and will throw off your speedometer readings big time, not worth it since the tires will be on 24/7.

I would say find some 17" wheels that you like. Then you'll have all the tire selection you'd want.

Well it's mostly for next summer, this winter I'm swapping a 3.5 in my car and putting on Cattman headers/hi flow cat/cat back/intake. I'm expecting maybe 220-225whp.
