well if you have the stock 2001 se rims No they wont fit b/c the tires you have are 18's and the stock rims are 17's but if the tires came with rims or if you have 18' rims then yea they should fit but 55 is a VERY high profile something that goes on jeeps so i wouldnt reccomaned it on a 18' rim.

That's almost 3" taller than your stock set-up, please don't do that. :

28.61" vs 25.85"(stock)

I was running a 245/45/18 tire and dropped about 2.25 inches all the way around on JIC's but decided to go with a 235/40/18. I dot know much about tire size but that seems like it will be a huge tire. It will make yor car sit high off the ground. I wouldnt reccommend it.

"My sources say no." This thread is over. Sell them and move on. Besides rubbing your gearing will be terrible and your fuel mileage will be greatly decreased.

We already went over this. Stock size is 25.85 as per NmexMAX. 255/45/18 is ~27.0354" and 235/45/18 is 26.3268". The 235/45/18 has a fairly decent chance that it won't rub but the 255/45 is 1.185" bigger. That is a huge difference. Try it if you want. Its your money you'll waste on mounting them.

235-45-18, thats a rare size.

I was hoping to replace my 235-40-18's with this.

Anyone try it? does it rub?

Why? All it does it make the gearing worse. If your worried about bending the rim get a 17".
