Need offset advice for 5th gen...

What would be the correct offset for 18x8" rims with 255/45 tires; 20, 30 or 40?

Thanks, T

Is your car lowered?

I wouldn't go w/ a 20. 40s will fit and according to offset calculator, you could use 30s also.

Car is lowered with H&R springs.

Is a 42 offset ok?

Please clarify; the higher the offset number, the closer the wheel is to the outside of the car?

+42 offset will be fine with those tires. With a LOWER offset, the wheel will be further out from the center of the car.

42 is ok but your wheels will be tucked in. I don't like that look but if you don't mind, go for it.

Lower the offset, further wheels stick out.
