215/55/17 ??

Hi I need to buy new tires, the rims i have have the potenza turanza 215/55/17, since the streets ussually are in bad shape where I drive, I don't want to go lower on the tire's profile could i put 225/55/17 or maybe 235/55/17 ? or they are too big and it would look like a 4x4 and another question which tire do you recomend for all season weather ?

Ahh....you either have a Potenza or a Turanza, not a Potenza Turanza -there aint no such animal

A 225/55 series tire will be about four tenths of an inc bigger than what you have now, any such tire will be between 26.5 and 27 inches in diameter which is okay -barely. You do not want to go to a 235/55 -too big and too heavy...u will feel it in performance.

If ride quality is a major consideration, you can install the Falken 512s if they are available in that size. Another excellent tire is the Turanza LS-H and LS-V....I have the Vs and they are awesome tires -best tires I have ever had on any of my cars -ever.
