Advice on a 17" rim for 4th gen

Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased a 96 GXE and I'd like to swap out the stock 15s for some 17s and I'd appreciate if you could recommend what wheel/tire combo and offset would work best. I'd like to stick with a 17x7 wheel. The car is not lowered, but I'd like the flexibility to do so in the future without having any rubbing problems. Thanks in advance.
