replacing 18'" tires

I need to replace my the 18" tires on my 2000 SE. I had Yokohama AVS Dbs and I was happy with them, through two winters, but they are a LOUD tire. Any other suggestions?
These need to be all season tires.

Thanks,
T

I was a Yoko fan for 15 years till I tried the new Toyo Proxes 4, I'll never go back, they're quiet, smooth, sticky and incredibly so in the wet, try them you won't regret it!

i had toyo proxies, on 18's.. the ride they gave was great. its a soft tire. but i live in nyc, and they didnt stand up to the potholes too well.. i went through about 3 a year from hittin potholes that were bad enough to bend the rim, and make the sidewall bubble.. i have nittos now for a lil over a year, and have never had a problem with them at all. even hittin some hole bad enough to bend the rim a bit, they have never given me a problem. they are 40's series. if i had to make a choice between the the two , it would definately be the nitto's

I've heard many positive comments on the Prox 4's as well as the Perelli P-Nero Zeros and Tirerack rates both pretty well.

toyo proxes/ nitto 555- although the toyo is going to be better when it's wetter but nitto's are very good as well! toyo rubber compund is more better than nitto in the winter also, nitto will make you feel like you are driving on hard plastic tires in the winter! both are very quiet tires from my experience i had with them! good luck! i would say toyo, imo

nt 555's are not an all season tire, yes, you are correct t-bone! i would recommend the nt 555's for spring/summer maybe fall if it doesn't get too cold where u are during the fall! all though they are very good in the wet traction field, but if the weather is cold and wet like in the winter, they ride like hard plastic ! just my.02- good luck though - go with a toyo/yoko/pirelli for an all season tire -
