$700-800 budget

hey fellas, been gone for awhile, investing money in some I.C.E., now looking for a nice set of rims. $700-800 budget as stated; looking for a nice, clean 5 or 6 spoke design (no chrome please) with tires. I'm guessing I will not find that price with 18's or larger so 17's are fine by me. my maxima is a 99 gxe pebble beige. Dropping my car as well (D2 coilovers been sitting in my house for 5 months). Would appreciate your suggestions. Thanks

With that budget, that's tough. You can't even get crappo ADR's or Konig's with tires for that price. $700-800 just barely buys good tires for 18's. I'd search used on forums/ebay, etc...

maybe your best bet would be to buy used 5gen wheels and get decent tires on them

You can get a good set of wheels and tires if you go USED. Be dilligent, and check craigslist, as well as other car forums that have the same bolt pattern and offset as ours (there are quite a few). Good luck. I bought my 17" 98 Cobra wheels for $300, and tires for $175. There are deals out there to be had.

IMHO, I'd rather have a better quality set of used wheels/good tires vs whatever new wheels/tires you could get for $600-$800. Especially if it was for some 18" wheels/tires

The wheels in my profile pic are 17's and i got them with tires for about 850. They are Hankook tires, and the wheels are primax's.

There were some good prices on packages at http:www.autoglitz.com when I bought my 17's and the customer service was excellent. They didn't have my initial choice but I gave the guy a general idea of what I wanted and he gave me a list of #'s to check on the internet. Good Luck. Be sure to verify tire sizes that come with the kits though. I had them change mine from a 40 series to 45's and they came with Falkens.
