I just recently purchased a set of 2005 Maxima 18" wheels and tires for my 2002 Maxima SE. The tires are Goodyear Eagle RS-A 245/45R18. I know the wheels will fit my 2002 Maxima but I've been told that the tires will rub. What size options can I go with that will not rub? Any tire brands that you recommend that look good and perform well? Mainly going to use this wheel package in the summer. Thanks!

 

I recommend getting 235/40/18 for your 18s

For tires, I had Falken 115s and they grip the road like no other, quiet but tread life isn't the best. I also had Nittos 450s and 555s. They grip well, have stiff sidewall but are noisy.
