Does anyone know if i can put 225/50/16 on 18" on my 4th(96maxima)??? HELP

dude, what are you talking about.. i have 4 18" rims with 225/50/18" tires on it. i want to know if they will fit my 4th gen maxima.. im looking for someone that has these size tires on their 4th get to tell me how it rides.. THanks

 

probably quieter than my 235/40/18's...softer too...get thinner tires or ur rims will look like 16s....

 

Im just asking because of the shocks and fender.. im curious to know if 225/50/18 would not fit my car.. i have no way of trying them on before i have them shipped to me

 

No you can't put 16" tires on 18" rims

225/50/18s are wrong size for your 18s

i just put 245/45/18's on my car last nite.. i have a 96 lowered on h&r's.. they barely fit BARELY, and only rub the inner wheel well slight when the front wheels are fully turned. i really dont think you'll get a 50 series stuffed under there..

 

stuntin'101, im glad to hear u fit a 45 series on an 18inch wheel for your max, but did i not mention to you before that it will rub when you turn your wheels. the best and biggest size for an 18inch tire on a 4th or 5th gen max is 245/40 - how come some people on this org do not get this yet? g'head n waste your money on 45 or 50 series for an 18inch tire if you got money to burn! also that 45 or 50 series tire on an 18 inch wheel is going to make it look like a 17inch or 16inch wheel respectively!

I dont have my car lowered but i still think 50 series would be pushing it.. Thanks alot.. What happens is that i have 4 18inch chrome rims but only one rim has a tire, which happens to be 225/50/18... I guess im going to have to sell that 1 tire and get 4 40 series.. you can fit a 45 series... but thats probably the absolute maximum
