Enkei OR52 18x8.5 +35

sorry, newb question once again.

I had the 17" Enkei RS5 ordered and they only sent me two and told me the other two will take TWO MONTHS to come in so I got my money back and sent em back. So I was thinking about just getting the Enkei OR52 18x8.5 offset 35. Would these stick out at all? One more question, What are the stock offset on the 97 GXE?

They will run fine...what tire size you planning to run and what drop do you have? If you run 235/40/18 and are not dropped lower than S-Techs (2.2) than you should be fine....

It depends...do you want all out performance with low treadware? Does wet traction bother you at all? How about price? Let me know what your looking for and I can steer you into the right direction....

As far as the TEIN basics go....U might not want to go too low....in the front that is.....the rear should be fine at +35 offset....it shouldn't rub even if your car was slammed in the rear.....

This is from personal experience of having rims and a Progress drop on my 4th gen.....

ic ic ... how much of a drop would you reccomend on the front and rear? for tires somthign average i guess.... some tires that i can afford. the tires i have on now are just bad... so i figured might as well just get rims and affordable tires.

I would Recommend some Falken 512s....they are all season and produce a very quiet ride.....the price is very competitive as well....it's actually a very popular tire amongst the Maxima community.....

As for the drop, I suggest 2 inches all aronud from stock.....as u know...the Tein basic dampers don't retain suspension travel as you go lower.....so the lower you go, the worse your handling is going to get.....so I'd say 2 inches is a compromise between "looking good" and handling well....

PM me if you have any more questions...I'll be glad to help

Do you know the weight of the wheel? I was looking at them as well.

Not too sure. I heard they were pretty light so I assume they will be under 20lbs.
