Title says it all. You know, the "sawblades" (from 1995 I think).

I heard they weigh around 43-44 pounds with the tire. That is why you should get the stock steel wheels to race because there 41 with the tire. I heard every 1 pound of your rim more is 8 pounds to the curb weight of the car. Then you have to times it by 4 because you have 4 wheels.

The sawblades I think are 42-43 pounds. A little lighter than the 5 spoke rims.

Based on the above, what are after-market 17" wheel recomendations for a 97 SE with 16" stockers. Is there any brands out there with significant weight reductions over stock?
