4th Gen with 245/45/18?
If I put 245/45/18's on my 4th Gen would it rub bad? I have Murano rims and I got the tires but I don't want them to rub. The car isn't lowered now but will be soon. They are Goodyear Eagle RSA's off of a 6th Gen. If they rub they will be for sale if anyone is interested. Thanks

Fellas, keep this thread going and make sure to post your experiences. The reason I ask this is I have a set of Muranos coming and am wondering whether to put 235/40 or 235/45's on them. I'm thinking 245's may be too wide, but keep me posted. GL guys.

245/45 is much taller than the stock OD and will hurt acceleration. Its not the width that matters. You can never have too much rubber on the road in these cars. They have tons of space for tire. Andy from Top Element has run 255's on 4th gens. Its the aspect ratio that matters and effects the OD. The OD effects the gearing. The gearing effects acceleration.
The OD's of various sizes are as follows.
245/45=26.82"
245/40=25.84"
205/65=25.66"(Stock)
That means the OD will be well over an inch larger. That will be horrible for performance but if that doesn't matter to you go for it.
