Borbet Type E

Yea, I'm planning on running the 17" Borbet Type E wheels with the Sumitumo HTR+ from TireRack because I like the nice clean look of them. I just want to know if anybody had any negative or positive experiences with this wheel before I purchase it. Are they strong wheels? Are they heavy? Please post

i looked at these a while back. tirerack lists them at 21.5lbs for 17X8 so i would not consider them heavy but you could definately find lighter wheels. they list for 169 which is a pretty good bargain but i could not speak for their durability. only max i have seen them on was a 00/01 dark green and they looked very nice and simple.
