Ideal setup for 18" rims
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find it. What is the ideal setup for a 1995 MAX with respect to wheels? I'm definately going to get 18" wheels (probably EVO5's or or G35's). I also plan on getting H&R springs with Tokico Illuminas. What width rims should I get and what size tires should I run?
18 x 8 all around (Probably with 245/40-18 all the way around)
18 x 8 in the rear and 18 x 17.5 in the front (probably with 245/40 in rear and 235/40 up front)
18 x 7 all the way around (not my choice) (probably with 235/40 all the way around)
Any comments and/or suggestions? What are the pro's and con's of using a staggered setup? Would you guys recommend it?

Match your Tires to your Wheels
Another way to go about it is to check out the minimum rim size for the tires you plan on mounting. TireRack.com lists the range of rim sizes for each tire (in the Specs section), and for the tire sizes you are looking to install, the minimum rim size is 18x8. This specification is called the "Rim Width Range". There is also a specification for "Measuring Rim Width", which is the "ideal" tire size within that usable range of acceptable tire sizes. Make sure the tires will fit the rims before you decide.
