I have about 7-8k miles on my M&S....doesn:t sound anymore louder than when I drove it off the tire shop lot....Ill moniter my tire noise though

Good luck with the Pirellis, BlackCat. I would buy them if they fit my rims but they don't. Are you going to run them year round? I suspect so, otherwise you would have bought summer tires.

You're talking Toyo aren't you. They don't fit either. I am either getting BF Goodrich Traction TA or Yokohama Avid H4s, both H-rated and am continually waffling between the two. I am only coming up to 60K on the RSAs and thought why make a hasty, rash decision, lol!

I have Proxes 4 on my car and two of them are being replaced because they are egg shaped. I was told they are being discontinued and replace with another model. Has any one else heard this?

yeah they were being replaced by a proxess fz4 or something they have a little longer tread wear too like 340 or so. my friend has some of them on his 97 gxe and they grip pretty well from moderate launches, around corners, and in the rain. they don't make enough noise to bother either of us, of course we are going to gut the car of the sound deadining materials and just put down some heat shield etc....
