Hey guys I can get some 19x8 rims but they are 45mm, I drive a 2000 infiniti i30, would it look wierd? (wheels too tucked in looking) Can I use spacers of somesort to widen the cars stance?

 

I've got 42mm and it looks fine but I opted for a higher offset so that i wouldnt rub when I lowered. If the look doesnt satisfy you can always get spacers.

 

On second thought a 45mm may be a little to tucked in. If you can get the wheels in a lower offset do so otherwise you can use spacers the only reason I went so high was to be absolutley sure I wouldnt have any rubbing issues.

 

I had a set of GramLights with a +40 offset and 8" width,and that to me, looked too tucked in. I'm running my other set of G35's right now, and they're an 8" width with a +30, and the look is perfect. I'm on 235/40/18's in the back and pretty slammed on Ksports, and no rubbing what so ever.

 

45mm on an 8" wheel will be way in there yes. Unless they are some incredible crackhead deal I'd keep looking.

I think instead of the whole aftermarket look, Ill stick OEM, if I can get my hands on some G35, M45 wheels Ill probably get those.

 

For the rears. Just get rims with correct offset because w/ 15mm spacers, you'll need longer studs and possibly, open end lugs as well

 

or theres a guy who makes adapters.. that bolt to your stock lugs then teh wheels atach to the adapter.... He custom makes them .. so give him teh size you want and he can make them.. email me.. if interested .. im gonna have a pair made..

 

for comparison's sake, here are my rims (8" wide also) with a 30mm offset....now imagine them "in" 15mm I personally like them flush with the sides, the way European cars do it...

No spacers? The front seems to be even with the sides a little more than the rear but still looks way better than stock.

 

no spacers....but it's a 30mm offset on an 8" rim compared to 42mm offset on a 7" rim stock. That means the rims on mine come "out" 12mm+1/2"(roughly13mm) = 25mm

so that's what stock rims would look like with a 25mm spacer.
