Oh sorry, didn't see that you answered my question. So I can go 245/40 on all tires or no? I don't want rubbing and I don't know if the fronts could handle a tire that wide.

To be safe, would 245/35 be ok?

And if I wanted to go staggered, could I do 245/35 front and 265/35 rear without rubbing? I wanna go as wide as I can with no rubbing issues. Thanks guys, you all rock!

You should be fine, you're not lowered.

Thanks Viper....Also, at what lowered height will I start to encounter rubbing/What would be the best suspension setup for me having the g35 coupe 18s on, as i said with 245s in the rear?

Hmm... not to sure but probably with an even drop you should be fine. If you're slammed, you'll definitely rub. If you go low on coilovers, rubbing might not be as bad because they'll be stiffer.

I did like how irishs came out nice and silvery, and my friend with a g35 has his wheels painted black. Has anyone else repainted there wheels a different color? Post some pics plz.

size youll be good on. what gen is your car and are you lowered? friction will play a part obviously. wider tire=more friction. but were not talking anything too dramatic.

When did the G35 wheels comes staggered? I'm perusing the FS threads on G35driver and I'm seeing a few that are staggered and I didn't think any Maxima drivers were running staggered.

I don't want to buy staggered but I also don't want to have to shop around for fronts. Can anyone clear this up?

I'm pretty sure only the Rays came staggered. The coupe 18s I have, people say they are the "Brembo edition" ( They look a tad darker that the original coupe 18s) and I heard those are staggered, but there not

those might have a staggered look (225/40/18 up front and 245/40/18 in the back) or something like that. The actual rim is not staggered I'm running 235/40/18 all around on mines so no staggered look

How can you make the center caps fit with the G35c wheels on a 5.5gen? Are there certain ones you can buy?

np. Though they barely fit, they lock on enough to NOT come off. I've had them on my G35c since I posted that info, and everybody else never had an issue.

Alright, I'm thinking about picking up this set of tires and rims. Am I going to need spacers? I didn't see 2008 sedan wheels on the sticky...

Specifications -

Wheel Size: 17x7.5 offset is +45mm

Tire size: 225/55R17 Goodyear Eagle RS-A

TPMS: YES

Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3

Price looks good so just want to make sure they'll bolt up when I get them delivered.

The 19" Rays are 19x8 in the front & 19x8.5 for the rears.

17 and 18s are not staggered

17s and 18s are not staggered. only the 19 forged wheels are staggered. People confuse a different size tire on fronts/rears for staggered wheels.

I need new tires soon, I was thinking about going with a streched look for something different. What would be a good tire size for that for the front and rears? Anything bad about stretching the tires if it's not a major stretch? I want them to look stretched but not look absolutely retarted like a 205 on a 10" rim...
